Certified nursing assistant (CNA) is a person who has finished his or her training the nursing assistant course. The main task of a cna test is to help and assist the licensed nurse and doctor in a hospital or any other long term health care unit.

The certified course is classified under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 as approved by the centralized authorities of the country. The basic requirement of the certification course of nursing assistant includes:
• State approved training procedure, that is, 51 hours of theory classes.
• 24 hours of practical classes.
Other parts of training include:
• Basic nursing skills.
• Handling of the medical equipments
• Safety and emergency precautions
• Basic health care measures and so on

It is mandatory for all the students to pass both the examinations (written and practical). cna certification

Once the student has completed the training course, he or she is eligible to work in any hospital, mental care unit or any other private clinic.
